Lincoln's 1st Haircut in the U.S.

Okay...today was NOT one of Lincoln's favorite days! Lincoln had a haircut, or shall I say a buzz cut back in Guatemala before we picked him up to come home. However, today was his first time since he's been home that it has been cut. Philip said that it was just too straggly and needed to get trimed. Geez! He was extremly UNHAPPY about his haircut. He cried WAY more than when he had his surgery last week. It sounded like we were torturing the poor little man and that was just when the hairdresser, Sara, was combing his hair! Also, I took him to get his hair done with Sara because he knows her and she isn't a stranger to him. So, I thought that that might help. I brought along his booster seat to use since he is used to it and a couple of toys that he could maybe play with. Ofcourse, he had his beloved "pompee" that he clung to inbetween bites of pudding and cheese sandwiches...I figured he would be happy to be eating since he LOVES his food but it didn't work out that way...
He'd take a few nibbles and then screech and wail...I think the neighboring stores probably thought that we were seriously inflicting pain upon him! Finally, towards the end I picked him up and it took a long time to calm him down.
Here are some pics that I was able to take...he wouldn't let me go too far from him. I am sorry that most are of him crying...He HATED it SO much! Hopefully next time will be a little bit better.

Here I am being told that I am sitting in a big highchair and I was just given a sandwich...

Ahhhhhh.....back to my car seat and my toy is right where I left it!

Driver! Take me far, far away from this place!
