Check-Up

This morning I had my 29 week check-up. All is well and Everett is growing right on schedule. I measured on target (30 weeks) and he is positioned head down...for now. Hopefully he stays that way! I guess that is why I am getting jabs to the ribs all of the time - he is going to be quite the soccer player or football kicker...I can't count the number of times in a day that I yell out "ouch" from all of Everett's kicks. Lincoln just shrugs it off now as normal. He was there today while the doctor was measuring me and he was able to hear Everett's heartbeat. He was telling the doctor that,"Mama hurt. She boo-boo." he was pointing to my belly. It was so cute. We tried to explain to him that the baby was in there and he kept saying, "no, that body." He was very confused as to why I would say that my belly was a baby...then we went out into the hall way and there is a wall with a bunch of baby pictures on it. He said, "Look, Mama. Here he is. Here baby." I think that he thought that me and the doctor were wrong and that he wanted to show us what a baby looks like. After our appt we went to Babies R Us and bought Everett a toy and Lincoln picked out a new toothbrush. We also got Everett the Rainforest Baby Swing and bouncer/viberating seat!! They are so stinking cute! I am so anxious to put Everett in them...hurry up February! My appointments have now changed to every 2 weeks instead of 4 weeks. That makes me happy. It means that the end is near! I've only 11ish weeks left!
Well, this week there is nothing crazy going on. I will be home waiting on all of my Christmas packages to come. This year I did most of my shopping via on-line. So, now I can just sit back and wait for them to be delivered. Today we recieved some stocking stuffers and also Philip's new computer chair (it is very nice!). I will have to take some new pics this week of Linc and also of our new tv. We bought a new 50" Plasma yestaurday and let me say - it is AWESOME! I am loving it and Lincoln is, too. It's like a theater for him... I don't think that I will be leaving home for a long time now!
