26 Weeks Pregnant!

Yea! I have only 98 more days to go...that means that I have been pregnant for a whooping 182 days!! Time is flying bye and we are now into the double digits. Everett is now inhaling and exhaling small amounts of amniotic fluid, which is essential for the development of his lungs. These so-called breathing movements are also good practice for when he's born and takes that first gulp of air. And he's continuing to put on baby fat. He now weighs about a pound and two-thirds and measures 14 inches from head to heel (the size of an English Cucumber).
This week I have been busy preparing the house...there is plenty to do. I have moved the crib over into our room and organized LOTS this week! I have been a constant cleaning machine!
Today we went to our good friend's children's baptism. It was a nice service and the kids looked adorable! I was surprised that baby Alek (almost 4 months) didn't cry when the water was poured onto his head...he didn't make a peep. Josie did great, too. She looked so pretty in her dress and her daddy curled her hair into ringlets...so cute!! Below are a couple of snap shots of Josie and Alek. Lincoln was great, too. He was on his best behavior and actually made it through almost the whole service. Papa took him outside to run off his built up energy with only 15 minutes left of service...I am so proud that Lincoln did as well as he did. We normally don't have him with us through out the entire service at our church. He usually goes into the toddler room after music...
