25 Weeks Pregnant

Well, I am doing well and growing like crazy! Everett is now the size of an eggplant and my uterus is the size of a volleyball... I have a check up on Tuesday and will find out how our little one is doing. I am very happy to be into November! We will be getting ready for Thanksgiving and busying ourselves with that and with getting ready for Christmas...before we know it January will be here and then - FEBRUARY!! Oh, how I long for Everett's birthday! I am not taking this whole pregnancy thing very well...don't get me wrong...I love that we are having another baby. I am SO excited for him to be here but, I am NOT one of those women that embraces and loves pregnancy...It's kinda weird. I feel like I should be in the movie 'Species' or something - when Everett is kicking and moving around in my belly... Let's just say, Philip and I are already talking about our next adoption...it won't be for about 2-3 years, though. He actually has almost talked a friend at work and her husband into adopting! I hope that they do. I would love to live through their experience...I long for that day when we begin our next adoption. I know that the paper chase is obnoxious but I can't wait to start doing it again! I wonder where God will guide us...which child he has chosen for us. Until that day comes, though, I will be happily taking care of my 2 beautiful blessings...I look forward to seeing Lincoln and his new brother together. I am just so happy to become a mother to 2 boys!
On a dimmer note...Philip has been doomed with the flu! I feel horrible for him. He has just started feeling ill tonight and I am sure that we are in for a long night...I might sneak into Linc's room and hunker in with him for the night. Gosh, I hope that Lincoln escapes this nasty flu bug...I can't even think about how awful it would be for him to get this. He can't stand a runny nose - let alone this!

Hey girlie!!! I know exactly how you feel about pregnancy. Plus having a toddler on top of being preggo is hard! But not too much longer! I cannot wait to see the little guy and oh how fun having two is!!! Gabby is so darn protective of Hunter, it is so cute!
