Well, today was my 21 week check up. I was a little scared and anxious to see what my weight gain is to date. I am totaling 16 lbs now. Not too shabby for 5 months, eh? I feel even more better about my weight knowing that I am measuring larger than I should be. My doctor measured my fundal height and I am measuring at 25 weeks instead of 21...geesh! I know that my due date is accurate. In 4 weeks when I go back for another check up, if I am still measuring larger than I should, I will be scheduled for another ultrasound to check Everett's growth and to check out the amniotic fluid - maybe there is more than the "norm" in there?! Who knows, maybe he just had an early growth spurt...or maybe Everett will be a big boy. Either way, the appt. went well. His heartbeat was great and the doctor was surprised at Everett's super-strength kick! He kicked at the heartbeat machine when we were listening to it...He is still laying really low and it is the reason for my sciatic nerve pain. Ouch! It's nothing to worry about though. He just prefers it there. The pain, though, is....rather painful!
Enjoy the pictures from today.

Lincoln had a lot of fun collecting leaves today.

He collected 1/2 bag of leaves...

He was so proud of himself.
Swinging is such fun!

I can tell you that Alec ALWAYS measured a few weeks bigger then he was and in the end he was 8 pounds 4 oz and he was born at 42 weeks. (long story on the 42 week thing). It tends to even out at some point but keep in mind they are also not always very accurate. As long as it is not WAY off then things are good as can be...but that DOES sound painful as I have had that same pain when I slipped a disc in my back. EEEK.
Now as for all the pictures. How CUTE is that?!?! I love all the leaf-picking pictures. He is such a doll and will make the BEST big brother. How cool is that!
