Back from Colorado!

Well, we are back from our trip to Colorado. We had so much fun! I think it was even better than our last time. Lincoln had a blast and made a new friend with our friends' child, Tommy. He was Tommy's shadow...it was adorable. We did a lot of fun things and I didn't take nearly as many photos as I should have, but none-the-less I took as many as I could...It gets harder to snap away when you're having so much fun! I am definitely looking forward to going back next year. Every year we go and every year we are reminded of how much we want to live there. Now that we are back home - we are terribly miserable with the weather of Michigan! The weather is so sticky and humid and awful and sweltering hot! My hair is a huge frizz ball and I can't even breathe... I very much dislike humidity. It stinks!
Yesterday was Lincoln's 2nd birthday! He has become such a big boy...We had a wonderful day celebrating his birthday. We ate lunch at McDonalds, went to the toy store and met up with Papa and bought a new bike, and then we hung out with some friends in the evening. We are having our party for him next Saturday. It should be lots of fun to see him actually open his gifts with excitement this year.
Our little guy has become such a great talker. He is now putting together many sentences and he is very vocal now. These last few months he has grown so much physically and vocally. It is amazing to watch him learn and find himself. He is such a comedian, also. I think he has found his true calling - comedy! He cracks us up all of the time!
