Our little man has reached a new milestone! He has slept the whole night through in a toddler bed for 2 nights, so far!! The 1st night he got out of bed (he'd stay in his room, though) about 4 times and then I would go into his room and place him back into his bed...the 2nd night he got up only 3 times...he has done so good! We placed a baby gate in his doorway and keep his bedroom door cracked a tiny bit. In the morning he still wakes up at 7am and he is very quiet. He will play with his rabbits and talk/chatter to them and we hear him in the monitor. He will do this for over a half an hour and then we will go in and get him. I think he really likes having independence and being "free" from the crib rails. He actually sleeps in his crib still, except we took off a rail. It is adorable to see him crawl into bed and wave to us while saying, "Night, Night". It is a great accomplishment that we are VERY proud of. What a big boy!
Tonight we laid Lincoln into bed and, so-far, he hasn't gotten out of bed. Knock on wood. I have been checking on him every 10 minutes or so...

Tonight Lincoln finished the 2nd half of the movie Cars. He was so excited. We started watching it yesterday and all day he has been asking to see more Cars. We went to the store earlier to but a "Go Green" shirt for earth day and we must have went to 7 stores...everywhere we went there were Lightning McQueen and Tow-Mater shirts and toys..."Wow! Car! Go.Go.Go!!!" this is what Lincoln kept saying at the TOP of his lungs...it was quite funny. I must say though, we searched high and low and did not find a shirt for earth day...I guess I will have to order one on the internet.

Ahhh, the toddler bed. Our babies r growing up!!! Kinda sad huh but they are so fun at this age chit chattin with us! I loved the hamper picture, too cute!!! He is so darn cute!! Hugs from the Ladds!
