Lincoln's Operation

Today was Lincoln's circumcision. He did SO good! Philip and I were prepared for the worst...and we actually were quite surprised by Lincoln's non-chalant and calm manner. He was a bit stunned when we awoke him so early in the morning (5:00am) to take a bath. He kinda went with the flow...when we arrived at the hospital he was wide-eyed and very interested in all of the lights and people. Everyone was in awe of his quietness and mild-temper...they even thought that he'd been given a mild sedative because he was so calm and content! Philip and I just smiled and let them know that this is his "norm" and that he is always this wonderful. We changed him into his gown and I felt honored to wear the wonderful "bunny-suit" and head cap. Lincoln was definitely weirded out with me in such a goofy outfit. He just about leapt over into Papa's arms!! It was so cute...he would barely look at me! It was nice to see him loving up on Papa. He ended up falling asleep on his lap. The nurse came for us and I carried him, still asleep, to the Operating Room. He woke up shortly after we got into the room and was intrigued by all of the equipment. He was also making friends with one of the nurses. Then it was time to lay him on the table and he did wonderfully! He laid there and I sang him songs until he fell asleep. He did amazingly well...
After the surgery he was thrilled to see us. He was so happy that he was crying! It was so good to see him...We then went home and he ate like never before!
After his nap he played hard and laughed lots! He is sensitive to his "area" and cautious about how he crawls and sits- but other than that- he is doing great. He has stayed on his eating and nap schedule and seems to be doing just fine.
We hope tomorrow goes just as well for him. He is such a great boy - such a wonderful trooper!

Here I am bright and early...wondering what's going on?

I am a little unsure of this bed and of Mama- in that crazy outfit.

Oh...well...at least I have my truck!

There is that outfit that I am talking about!
She looks so silly, I can't even look at her!

Way too much excitement for me this morning...time for a little rest.

Boy was I sawing logs!
Once at home I was able to FINALLY eat something!
I love popsicles!

Of course bananas are my all-time favorite!

After my nap I was in good spirits!

Aren't I just the cutest kid EVER!!

Pucker up Mrs. Bear!

Alright, I think it is playtime!

Diaper changing time is NOT my favorite right now,
but this animal cracker helped!
Vroom....Vroom...

This turtle is so much fun. I love to dance to the music it makes!

Papa and Mama took me on a walk. We needed some fresh air.

I am kinda upst that the bat won't go threw the hoop!
What gives!!

I am just getting ready to play the Wii.
Papa is in for a hurtin'...I am a pro-bowler!
Quenching my thirst...
