Birthday Blast!!!!

Lincoln's birthday party went very well. It was a fun packed day that flew by, too quickly! He enjoyed himself all day long! We were quite amazed...there were a lot of people there and he didn't fuss at all! He was so good! He loved playing in the water - which makes us so happy! Now we will be able to go swimming in Aunt April's pool! He is going to love it...Aunt April, Uncle Mike, and the girls gave him a super cool blow up pool and he hung out in it for the longest time! It looks like he may be a water baby!
Lincoln had a lot of friends at the party and they enjoyed themselves with the 2 pools, slip-n-slide, trampoline, water balloons, and the pinata. It was a party pretty much tailored for the kids...They really had a blast! Everything turned out perfectly. Food was great, cake was cute and delicious, (Lincoln was even cuter wearing it!) and only a few kids were sad...which is a good thing because with 18 kids running around there is bound to be some tears...
After the presents (there were so many gifts!!!) were opened we helped to clean up while the guests left and then shortly afterwards, Lincoln and I left. It was nearly 6 o'clock and he was exhausted! Poor guy, he fell asleep fast and slept until 10 o'clock this morning! He partied hard!
Today we opened the gifts and Lincoln played with most of them. He was so excited...he'd clap his hands and screech as I opened each present. It was so funny!
We went outside and watched as Papa mowed the lawn after dinner. Lincoln likes watching his Papa mow. He was chugging along in his new hot rod...it was hilarious because he had on his bucket hat and he was kinda reclined and had his one hand on the steering wheel while the other was hanging off the side. He looked like he was trying to show off to the neighborhood...like he was the coolest kid on the block...

Well, Lincoln went to bed early tonight and I spent, what seems like forever, organizing the playroom and all of his new toys. Geez! It looks like we own a toy store. I am looking forward to tomorrow, though. I am probably just as anxious to play with all of the new toys as Lincoln is! Enjoy the pictures.
